Harbin Jiusheng Metal Structure Manufacturing Co., Ltd. launched a highly efficient automated electrostatic powder coating production line, providing standardized anti-corrosion surface treatment for supermarket shelving and warehouse storage system elements. This initiative aims to further improve both the durability and aesthetic characteristics of the products produced.
At the heart of the production line is an overhead conveyor system that allows for complete automation of the entire production cycle - from pre-treatment and coating to polymerization - for elements such as vertical posts and horizontal shelving beams. After undergoing acid etching and phosphating steps to remove surface contaminants, parts are treated to an even coat of environmentally friendly powder coating applied using electrostatic equipment. Then the products undergo high-temperature polymerization to finally secure the finishing layer. The resulting coating is characterized by high adhesion and a perfectly smooth, uniform surface; it significantly increases the resistance of products to corrosion and mechanical damage (scratches), thereby ensuring their suitability for long-term use in a wide variety of climatic conditions. Full automation of the process allows us to minimize the influence of the human factor, ensuring consistently high quality of coating in each batch of products, while also increasing overall production efficiency and reducing lead times.
